To My Readers
Feel free to leave any comments or questions you may have about a review or post. I will do my best to answer you. Otherwise you can Email me, or go to my Contact page for links to my other sites.
I am just someone who loves to review books! Any author information is listed on the reviews, along with some links on the sidebar.
To Authors and Publishers
I am very interested in reviewing new books. I strive to always give my honest opinion and promote only the best books! I will do everything I can to get reviews out when they are requested. I read mostly YA (young adult) titles and that ranges from paranormal, romance, fantasy, chick lit, etc.
What I will review: I am open to reviewing books that are young adult (paranormal, contemporary, fantasy, etc.). This blog will be largely focused on teen books and not really on anything adult-related. However, if you have a book you think I might enjoy, send away! I will let you know if I think I can give it an honest review.
What I will NOT review: More than likely I won't review a lot of adult books. I want this to be a place where teens and young adults can get an honest opinion on new releases in the YA category. It will depend on the book, author, and how much time I have.
eBooks or Self-Published: I won't read something that can only be accessed through computer. I do have a Kindle. If a book can be viewed that way, I will read it instead of having a hard copy. I do review self-published books and I take all requests on a case by case basis. It all depends on my schedule and what I'm able to work in.
My Reviews: My reviews will include the book cover, publisher/general book information (hardback/paperback, pages, target audience). I also include the release date and summary of the book and a link to Buy the book (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and The Book Depository unless requested otherwise). Then I will post my own summary and review, along with the rating. In some cases I will post some information about the author or other promotion materials (websites, book trailers, widgets, contests). My rating system for reviews is listed below.
I will read the book(s) and post reviews as soon as I can. If you have a particular date you would like the review to be published, please let me know. I always enjoy really getting to know an author. I'm more than happy to add an author interview, guest post, or other feature around the same date as my review.
Other Information: Since everyone loves a good contest I am happy to host giveaways or other contests. I will also give links and information for any other contests or promotional information relating to the book (as requested from the publisher or author).
Rating System: I will rate books from 1-5 stars.
Read at your own risk!
Had a few good parts, but mostly bad!
Decent, worth reading.
Very good, definitely worth the time.
Excellent! A must read!

ARC Use
This is an important topic in the blogging community. An ARC- or Advanced Readers Copy- is sometimes given out to reviewers before a book release. These books state that they are NOT to be sold. Occasionally people will still try to sell these books, and normally for a huge amount of money. It is illegal to sell ARCs! If you see anyone selling these books please report them.
Most of the ARCs I get from publishers or authors I will be keeping. :) I am a book lover at heart and enjoy having those special keepsakes. Occasionally I may use one as a prize in a contest or trade for another book with a blogger but I will never sell an ARC!
I made some buttons if any other bloggers want to promote the "Respect the ARC" campaign and commit to never selling ARCs. Feel free to take these buttons and place them on your site. I have them set to link back to my blog post about ARCs. I keep that post updated with other blogger posts regarding this topic.
