About

I don't really know where to begin. I grew up in a small town in West Virginia and lived there until I was 23. While there, I went to college and graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology in 2006. Later that year I got married to my wonderful husband and a year later we had a beautiful baby girl. 3 days after she was born (yes, I said 3 days) we moved to Tennessee, near Pigeon Forge. Our daughter is now 3 and we love it here in Tennessee.

I have been a stay-at-home mom since our daughter was born and in March 2010 I decided to pursue my Masters degree in Psychology. I am now a full-time graduate student and it is very difficult to balance everything! My only escape is through reading. When I was younger I would read constantly over summer vacation. Over the years I became busy with college and mommyhood and stopped reading as much for fun.

A few years ago I decided to look for a new book. I happened to pick up Twilight. I knew nothing about the book, or the upcoming movie at the time. I think I finished the first book in 2 days, and the series by the end of the week. I was hooked again on reading! Since then, I have read tons books. All of the books I have read and my wish list is listed on Goodreads

I mainly read young adult books books. Either in a series, or an independent book, it doesn't matter to me. I have a few adult paranormal series I follow, but not many. I've found over the years that some of the best books are made for the teenage audience. Some of the books I have read over the past few years have truly amazed me. Some of my favorite authors are listed on the homepage. I'm sure I will be adding more often!

Soon I started noticing some great book blogs and thought "maybe I could do that". I've wanted a blog for years and since books are my passion, why not follow that? I hope to grow the blog into something that people look forward to reading each day. I hope to give readers book ideas, along with helping new or existing authors promote their new reads.

Thanks for reading,
